Woolskin Sheepskin Shampoo & Woolwash is based on tanning technology to safely wash sheepskin without damage to the leather.

This is the only product we recommend for washing sheepskin

Developed and made in Australia in conjunction with the local Sheepskin Tannery’s, Woolskin contains a blend of tea tree and lemon myrtle oils which have been proven effective against dust mite and pet allergen. Woolskin is ideal for wool and natural fibres such as alpaca, mohair and wool/possum blends and has been found to reduce the ‘prickle’ in coarser wools and wet wool smell.

Woolskin can be used as a general laundry detergent for sensitive skin. Woolskin meets the high standard of Merino mark.

LAUNDRY INSTRUCTIONS

ALL SHEEPSKIN, WOOL & WASHABLE PRODUCTS: always wash in cold or warm water – never hot water.

MACHINE WASH:

Top Load – Measure 20ml Sheepskin Shampoo for small load and 40ml for large load into the washing machine.

Front Load – use half the quantity. Use small load settings for small articles or full load settings for larger loads. Select for cold or warm wash. Use gentle or wool wash setting and double rinse.

HAND WASH: Measure 20ml for each 10 litres of cold or lukewarm water into single wash tub. For larger items, best results will be achieved using a bath tub. Place sheepskin article in the solution and work it through the lambskin for approximately 5 minutes. Do not stretch the skin. Squeeze by hand until clean. Rinse thoroughly with cold water until water is clear.

DRYING: If hand washing, squeeze excess water – do not wring dry. Tumble dry in warm – not hot – dryer or allow to dry away from direct heat or sunlight.
